How to get here
By Car – From London or eastern Essex, you can get to Grays by the A13. From northern Essex or Kent, you can reach Grays by travelling on the M25 (note: visitors from Kent will need to use the Dartford Crossing). For more detail about how to get here by car, see the map above.
Br Train – Civic Offices is conveniently located close to Grays Train Station. The line runs between London Fenchurch Street and either Pitsea or Southend Central. The typical off-peak service is four trains an hour Westbound to London and two trains an hour eastbound to Pitsea and Southend.
After exiting the train station, head away from the main High Street towards the South Essex College Grays Campus and turn left on New Road. The Civic Offices is the large red brick building on the left.
By Bus – Grays Bus Station is located right next to the train station. Most buses in Thurrock go through the Grays Bus Station. For more information on bus travel, visit the Thurrock Council website.
Local Parking is located near the Thurrock Civic Offices. The nearest car parking spaces are a limited number of spaces on the bridge next to the office. There is also parking at the nearby Morrisons Supermarket and on Thames Road a little further down from the bridge and near the river. See the map below for more details on locations.
