Give your views on online GP consultations

NHS England is seeking views on online GP consultations – an alternative way to have a consultation from a GP.

NHS England is currently supporting GP practices to provide consultations with GPs or other health professionals via the internet. These services are referred to as ‘online consultations’.

Online consultations mean that anyone using the service will not have to take time out to come to the practice or wait on the phone. Using a smartphone, tablet or computer, you can contact your practice about a new problem or an ongoing issue.

Places using online consultations already have found a number of benefits, including quicker responses for patients, being more convenient for patients as they don’t have to travel to the practice and more appointments being made available to patients.
